How do I delegate the management of a Klon?

To delegate Klon management, add a new user with the Backup Manager role following these steps.

To delegate the management of a Klon, you need to register a new user with the Backup Manager role. This tutorial will show you how to do it.

1. Click on your User

Open the options menu from your username.

Click on your User

2. Click "Users List"

Open the Users List section.

Click 'Users List'

3. Click "Add User"

Choose the option to Add a new user.

Click 'Add User'

4. Select the Name field

Click on the Name field and fill it in.

5. Select the Surname field

Fill in the surname. Just below, you'll find the Second Surname field, which you can also fill in optionally.

6. Fill in the 'Email Address' field

Enter the email address of the person you want to delegate Klon management to. This person will receive an email to activate their account.

7. User Profile

The user profile or permissions they will have can only be 'Backup Manager'. For this reason, the field appears disabled.

8. Click "Klon Search"

Initiate a search within Klon.

Click 'Klon Search'

9. Select the Klon to be delegated

Select the Klon that the new user will manage.

10. Open the status selector

Click on Status.

Select the user's status. A user can be 'Active' or 'Inactive'. Only enabled users can log in to Klonup. Please note that users cannot be deleted, so if you want a user to stop operating, you should inactive them.

12. Click "Save"

Save the changes made.

Click 'Save'

13. Check that it's created correctly

Make sure that the message appears indicating that the user has been created successfully.

14. There you can see the created user.

Now the new user appears in the 'Your Users' list.

15. Email Received

The user you've registered will receive an email like this to verify their account and activate it. They won't be able to log in until they verify their account. The email may arrive in their spam folder, so we recommend checking it if you don't receive it in your inbox.
