Klonup lets you automate your backups by deciding when they should run. The schedule is always based on the time zone assigned to the klone.
Daily: choose a time for the backup to run every day – ideal for frequently updated projects.
Weekly: pick one or more days of the week and a specific time. This works well when your data changes on a weekly cycle.
Monthly: set a day of the month and a time for the backup, perfect for maintenance or monthly reporting.
To configure the schedule, open the task you want to edit, select the frequency and define the time (and day, where applicable). Backups will run based on the klone’s time zone, so it’s wise to schedule them during off‑peak hours (e.g. overnight) to avoid interrupting your work in Smartsheet.
Tips:
Don’t schedule multiple tasks from the same klone at the exact same time; spread them out.
Check the task history to confirm backups are running when expected.
Adjust the frequency if your data changes more or less often over time.
